Primewater’s installation of RO facility lauded
The RO facility is a state of the art technology designed to ensure water safety by purifying water through the removal of water impurities.
It is an 18 LPS Facility to reduce and treat mainly the Total Disolved Solid (TDS) and Chloride, and distribute
treated water to concessionaires.
This will ensure the potability of water provided to consumer
Tulugan, representing Gov. Amado “Pogi” I. Espino III, expressed hope that Primewater would install the RO
facility in all towns and cities and Pangasinan.
Other goverment official lauded and graced the event where Engr. R. De Guzman, Executive Assistan IV for
Environment who represented Mayor Joseres S. Resuello; San Carlos Citu Councilor Elpidio R. Fermin, Jr. and
Jack Lester P. Soriano and Tarece barangay Captain Orlando S. Sapera, Sr.
The Inaguaration was headed by SCCWD General Manager Engr. Benjamin G. Distor, SCCWD Board of Director Headed by
Chairman Asterio G. Quenano, Jr. Primewater’s Director for Legal Affairs, Atty. Ma. Gemma D. Aspiras, Primewater
San Carlos City Branch Manager, Mr. Ryan B. Cobilla and Primewater’s Senior Consultant Engr. Olim Gusi.
The project is just one of the initiates of the partnership. To assure of continuous improvement, an initial
19 MLD Treatment Facility will soon be constructed in Brgy. Gueles, San Carlos City to provide supply to all the
Barangays of San Carlos City.
The devoted partnership of Primewater and SCCWD had been laboriously working on the improvement,
rehabilitation and construction of new facilities in line with the provision of potable and sustainable
water supply and quality water services its concessionaires in its services areas. It has increased
its service connections from 7,754 to 9,501 connections, and decreased its Non-Revenue Water from 44% to
33% in a span of less than three years. The partnership is optimistic that with the continuous support of thhe
LGU, their endeavour will surely be a resounding success.
